Tag Proof – Label First-Print Inspection System

Designed to address the challenges of small label formats and the difficulty of manual inspection, Tag Proof intelligently compares the plate PDF file with the first printed sample. It accurately identifies plate defects and printing flaws before mass production, effectively preventing roll waste. The system is ideal for first-print inspection and imposition file verification of self-adhesive and electronic labels, and it can also be used for acceptance inspection of labels, cartons, and other packaging materials.

    Product features

    • First Print Inspection: Uses the customer’s electronic file as the standard for first-sample inspection, ensuring accuracy before mass production.
    • Quality Zoning & Grading: Enables regional and graded quality control for different products or different areas within the same product.
    • Smart Modeling & Auto-Matching: Supports intelligent modeling and data interaction, automatically matches single-K images with imposed files, and corrects skewed placement.
    • Template Standardization: Templates enable data interaction, aligning with packaging production workflows, while allowing brand owners and group clients to unify inspection standards across suppliers and printing plants.

     FAQs

    • Can the system work with a scanner purchased separately by the customer?

      image

Yes, it can. However, scanners purchased independently cannot be directly integrated with the system. In such cases, the scanned files must first be saved locally and then manually imported into the system for inspection. While this allows use of third-party scanners, the efficiency is lower compared to a fully integrated setup.

    • Does the system support color inspection?

    • Can dieline layers in design files be removed during inspection?

      image

Yes, if the dieline layer is created as an independent layer, it can be removed for inspection. If the dieline is not separated as an individual layer, the system currently cannot remove it. For best results, we recommend preparing dielines as independent layers during the design process.

    • Are there any restrictions on the types of products that can be inspected?

      image

No, there are no restrictions. The system is suitable for a wide range of label products, including electronic labels, food packaging labels, pharmaceutical labels, and more. Its flexibility ensures reliable inspection across different label applications.
