FAQs
-
What is the difference between the Flagship Edition and the Standard Edition?
The Flagship Edition is a premium offline inspection system. In addition to the text and image defect detection functions available in the Standard Edition, it includes advanced color inspection. Equipped with a professional spectrophotometer, it performs high-precision measurements of color bars on printed sheets. The imaging system, motion platform, control system, and hardware configuration are also upgraded compared with the Standard Edition.
-
Is the detection speed of the Flagship Edition slower than the Standard Edition?
-
What information is included in the color measurement results, and how does it support print quality control?
The Flagship Edition scans the printed color bars along the sheet edge to measure CMYK color difference values for each ink key and monitor density variations across color patches. Results are displayed numerically, enabling operators to adjust ink levels quickly and maintain consistent color throughout production. It also provides color consistency evaluation and grading based on international standards (e.g., C9).
-
Can the color measurement results also be displayed on the client side?
Yes. In a one-to-many client setup, the client display can receive all inspection results from the proof system server, including color measurement data. Operators can reference the results directly at the press to make color proofing adjustments.
