Zhang Dianbin, Chairman of SINOMV, Officially Appointed as Expert Member of the Publishing and Printing Industry Think Tank by China Press & Publication Journal
Recently, the “High-Quality Development of Publishing and Printing: Face-to-Face” event was successfully held in Kunming, Yunnan, bringing together publishers, printing enterprises, research institutions, and partners in digital and intelligent transformation to explore industry collaboration and high-quality development. During the event, China Press & Publication Journal launched the construction of an expert think tank for the publishing and printing industry. Zhang Dianbin, Chairman of Beijing SINOMV Technologies Co., Ltd. (SINOMV), was awarded the honor of expert member. Only five experts received this recognition, all of whom have extensive experience and outstanding insight in the publishing and printing field.

Zhang Dianbin has been engaged in machine vision inspection for over 25 years and has led his team to develop a full-chain digital quality control system for printing, widely applied in domestic and international markets, with some products filling domestic technological gaps. He emphasizes that the core of building a smart factory is first to solve quality issues before improving efficiency. SINOMV provides comprehensive solutions covering prepress proofing, offline initial inspection, inline full inspection, and post-press detection, and leverages the AI Quality Inspection Workstation to centralize equipment management and data analysis, ensuring quality at its core. In parallel, the company integrates robotic handling and smart logistics to enhance production efficiency, building agile, quality-centered smart factories while continuously innovating in intelligent inspection, embodied intelligence, and AI agents to support printing enterprises in their digital transformation.
During the panel discussions, SINOMV’s Marketing Director Jiang Yongquan delivered a keynote titled “Practice of Quality-Centered Agile Smart Factory Construction”, sharing technology pathways, digital application scenarios, and successful cases for SMEs’ digital transformation. Participants also visited the digital intelligent workshop of Yunnan Publishing and Printing Group, observing the full-process transformation from blank paper to high-quality finished books with smart inspection and eco-friendly production. Notably, tasks that previously required significant manual labor, such as waste sorting, are now efficiently handled by automated systems like the rotary precision waste removal system, drawing wide attention.

This event demonstrated how digital intelligence can connect multiple stakeholders, providing valuable experience for high-quality industry development. As a supporting unit of the “Three-Year Digital Transformation Plan for the Printing Industry (2025–2027)” and a pilot unit for the “Digital Development and Reform of the Printing Industry” designated by the National Press and Publication Administration, SINOMV will continue to focus on technological innovation and deepen collaboration with industry partners to promote the digital transformation of the printing sector.
